Stick Castle Defense ("the game") is published by Ben House ("we"). This page explains what information the game uses and the choices you have. In short: the game has no accounts, and we do not collect or store your personal information ourselves. The only outside services are Apple (purchases) and Google AdMob (ads).
Your progress (gold, upgrades, unlocked units, settings such as music volume) is saved on your device only. We never receive it. Deleting the game deletes it.
The game shows optional rewarded video ads (for example, to double your gold for a run) using Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC. When an ad is requested, Google and its ad partners may collect and use your IP address (which gives an approximate location), your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), device and app information, ad interactions such as views and taps, and diagnostic data. They use it to deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud. See how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.
Purchasing "No Ads" or the New Player Bundle turns ads off completely: the ad service is not started for you.
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment details, Apple ID or purchase history. The game only checks with Apple which items you own.
If the game crashes, a short report is saved on your device. It is not sent anywhere unless you choose to share it with us. If you have turned on "Share With App Developers" in iOS, Apple may also give us anonymous crash statistics.
The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are limited to content suitable for a general audience with parental guidance.
We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete. Deleting the game removes everything it stored on your device. Data held by Google or Apple is governed by their own policies and controls.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for advertising. We do not sell personal data. For data held by Google as part of ads, use the controls above or Google's own tools; for anything else, contact us below.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
